Fulton Theatre seeks educators, librarians, youth providers, youth, administrators, parents and other community stakeholders to serve on the Community Engagement Advisory Committee. As part of this committee, you will provide critical feedback, steer the direction of future programming, and strengthen the Fulton’s relationship with local schools, partners and collaborators. A committee will convene four times annually (September, December, March and June), and committee members must make a two-year commitment. Members receive special invitations of two complimentary tickets when available. Student Advisory Committee
A student advisory committee member is in grades 6-12 and has an interest in becoming more involved in Fulton Theatre. Student members participate in the Community Engagement Advisory Committee and foster deeper relationships with regional youth. Students provide input on course and show selection, engage the community through social media (facebook, blogs, other), volunteer at one special event per season, present to potential and current corporate sponsors, and influence community engagement programming that serves youth. The full committee will convene four times annually (September, December, March and June), and student members must make a one to two-year commitment. Additionally, the student committee members may meet up to two times independent of the full committee. Members receive special invitations of complimentary tickets, when available. Benefits especially for youth are an Academy of Theatre t-shirt, and an opportunity to connect with other youth in the region, fulfill a community service requirement, and a unique addition to your job and college applications.
