Fulton Theatre Local Teen Auditions WEST SIDE STORY (Ages 16 -19)

The Fulton Theatre will hold Local Teen Auditions (Ages 16 – 19) for WEST SIDE STORY.  If you are age 15 at the time of the audition, but will be age 16 by the date of our first rehearsal (May 21, 2026) you can audition.  These are unpaid positions.

WHEN: Sunday, February 22, 2026

WHERE: Fulton Theatre (Castagna Hall)

TIME: 11AM – 2PM

In attendance: Director, Stephen Schellhardt; Choreographer, Erin Moore; Music Director, Ben McNaboe; Fulton Executive Artistic Producer, Marc Robin; Fulton Casting Associate, Joey Abramowicz. Monitor, Deb Bielek.

The Fulton is looking for teens to fill out our ensemble as Jets and Sharks.  We must have strong athletic dancers who sing.

Please come prepared to learn a dance combination in clothes you can move well in. Some may be asked to stay and sing, so please bring your book with a song selection in the style of the show. Songs from the show are fine. 16 – 32 bar cut with cuts labeled and in a binder for the accompanist.  Please bring jazz shoes or sneakers you can move in. Female identifying dancers please also bring a character heel with you.

Please bring a current headshot and resume.

Sign in and holding will be on the second floor of the main lobby. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the audition.

Other information regarding our rehearsal process and weekly performance schedule:

Rehearsals are Tuesday – Sunday from 10AM – 6PM.  We will be able to work around minimal conflicts during the rehearsal process, but you must be available for all tech rehearsals and performances.
