Fulton Speaker Series

For the past 173 years, the Fulton Theatre has served as our community’s meeting place and home for the performing arts. As such, the Fulton looks to engage as broad an audience as possible (currently totaling more than 170,000 individuals annually) through a spectrum of cultural programs and performances designed to entertain, educate, and enrich. It is in keeping with this mission that our historic theatre is proud to present the 2025/26 Fulton Speaker Series. Fulton Speaker Series will see professional theatre artists and community stakeholders participating in interactive, arts-centric conversations that will allow participants to

tell their stories, exchange thoughts and ideas, examine their perspectives, and broaden their worldview.

Driving Miss Daisy

Tuesday, September 23, 2025

S. Dale High Leadership Center

1861 William Penn Way, Lancaster

5:00pm – 6:30pm

Opening the Speaker Series in 2025/26 will be an exploration of friendship, aging, racial prejudice, and societal change as portrayed in the Fulton’s season-opening mainstage production of Driving Miss Daisy (September 12 – 28, 2025). Focused on the evolving relationship between a Jewish, elderly woman and her Black chauffeur in the American South during the Civil Rights era, Driving Miss Daisy is a touching tribute to friendship and human dignity and the important role they play in an ever-changing world.
