Christian Jesus Galvis

Christian is making his debut at the Fulton Theatre in this year’s production of Chicago. A New Jersey native and a graduate of Montclair State University’s Theater and Dance program. Christian’s most recent work has been playing the role of Escamillo, in the immersive theatrical production of Carmen in NYC. He has also been seen traveling the seven seas as a featured dancer/singer in Carnival Cruise Lines’s Playlist Production Shows. Christian is beyond grateful for the opportunity to be involved in such an amazing production and have the ability to work with such great talent. Tarra is best known for her powerhouse voice and captivating presence. Her most notable works: Chicago The Musical (Matron Morton), Ain’t Misbehavin (Nell), Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (Ma Rainey), The Color Purple (Sofia/Church Lady Darlene), The Wiz (Evilene), Dreamgirls (Effie), Shrek, The Musical (Dragon, Mama Ogre/Bear), and Here Is Love (an original work). Janayé McAlpine

Ensemble, U/S Matron “Mama” Morton

Janayé is a professional dancer and singer serving the Washington, D.C. area. At the age of three, Janayé began her training in the area of dance at a small community dance center in Maryland. She then went on to earn her high school diploma from the Baltimore School for the Arts, specializing in dance performance. During her four years of high school, Janayé had the opportunity to train and perform alongside artists such as Debbie Allen, Troy Powell, and Fabian Barnes. She then continued her studies at the California Institute of the Arts, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in dance and choreography. After graduating in the spring of 2013, Janayé has danced professionally as a production dancer and singer with Norwegian Cruise Line, worked closely with Tony Award winner Lynne Taylor-Corbett in Swing the Musical, World Renowned Choreographer Travis Payne and Stacey Walker in the international entertainment company Legends in Concert, and director/choreographer, Warren Carlyle in the hit Broadway musical, After Midnight. Janayé is excited to be performing in the cast of Chicago at the Fulton Theatre.

Kayla Moniz

Kayla is so excited to be performing at the Fulton! She recently appeared in An American in Paris (ensemble) at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, as well as Evita (ensemble/mistress u/s). Other credits include the international tour of West Side Story (Francisca/ Anita u/s) and Chicago (Annie/Go-To-Hell Kitty) at the Highlands Playhouse. Kaylee Olson

Liz, Ensemble

Kaylee is jazzed to join the cast of Chicago in her first appearance here at the Fulton! Some of her favorite credits include: Susan Stroman’s Crazy for You at Lincoln Center in NYC, as well as touring nationally with Bullets over Broadway and Anything Goes. As a member of Roschman Dance Company she performed at Lady Gaga’s Artpop Rave in Brooklyn, and has done some flipping and high-flying aerial work aboard Norwegian Cruise line. She would like to thank her mom, Innovative Dance Studio, and her NYC family for always being there for her!
