Rei Akazawa-Smith

Ensemble

Rei is thrilled to be making her Fulton debut in Cinderella! Her credits include The King and I (Eliza; Walnut Street Theater), Taylor 2, and Paul Taylor Dance Company. While with T2/PTDC, she toured nationally in 37 states and internationally in Bermuda. Originally from Tokyo Japan, she began her ballet training in the style of Royal Academy of Dance, and holds a BFA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College.

Michaela is so excited to be back at the Fulton! Most recently seen here as Nicola in Kinky Boots. Also appeared in: Disney’s Newsies, Footloose (Wendy Jo) and Shrek The Musical (Fiona). Michaela thanks Marc for bringing her back “home” to work with this incredible cast! Other: Michaela has visited over 30 countries while lead vocalist of two different cruise lines, performed at North Shore Music Theatre (Hairspray), and has been in more than ten productions at Maine State Music Theatre. You may remember her from her portrayals of Eponine in Les Miserables (2009), Irene Molloy in Hello, Dolly!, or The Lady of the Lake in Spamalot!. Daniella was most recently in the closing company of The Phantom of the Opera US Tour as a swing and Madame Giry Understudy. Daniella resides in McKinney, TX with her loving husband Franklin Navarro and their sweet beagle Charlie, and works full-time as a voice over artist in her custom built home studio. Nathaniel Hackmann

Nathaniel is a singer and actor of international renown. He has been seen on stage in some of the repertoire’s most demanding roles with many of the world’s greatest orchestras and most prestigious companies. He has portrayed Jean Valjean and Javert in Les Miserables on Broadway, as well as the titular roles in Jekyll and Hyde and The Hunchback Of Notre Dame. He has toured across North America in Beauty and the Beast and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. For the BBC Proms he appeared as Curly with John Wilson Orchestra in the acclaimed production of Oklahoma! As a member of the prestigious Merola Opera Program at San Francisco Opera, Hackmann appeared as Raul in the world premiere of Thomas Pasatieri’s The Hotel Casablanca. Mr. Hackmann has appeared with such companies as Hong Kong Philharmonic, Michigan Opera Theater, Opera Theater of Saint Louis, and Virginia Opera. Nicole is so excited to be a part of this great company! When she’s not wearing her actor hat, Nicole is the Fulton’s Director of Advancement and Government Relations and has the joy of fundraising for this amazing institution. She holds a BM (voice) from Loyola, New Orleans, and MM (voice) from UT Knoxville. Favorite regional credits include Eliza Doolittle, My Fair Lady, Guinevere, Camelot, Anna, The King and I, Mother, Ragtime and the title role in Mary Poppins. Mateo Melendez

From his mother’s dance studio and b-boy cyphers in CT, to receiving a BFA in Dance from the University of Hartford and performing on stages across the country and the world, Mateo has been dancing all his life. After graduating from college, Mateo joined the dance crew iLuminate as they toured their off-Broadway show Artist of Light to Malaysia, Hong Kong, and across the US. Next he joined RWS Entertainment Group on Holland America Cruise Lines, and began his musical theatre career shortly after. Credits include The Fulton Theatre (Newsies, Guys and Dolls), Maine State Music Theatre (Newsies), Broadway at Music Circus in Sacramento (Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Newsies), and finally Beetlejuice: The Musical at The Winter Garden Theatre on Broadway.

Alex Hayden Miller

Alex received his BFA in musical theatre from the University of Michigan in 2016. After graduation he moved to New York City to pursue a career as an actor, singer, dancer. Notable credits include West Side Story (Action) Milwaukee Rep, Mamma Mia! (Eddie) The Fulton Theatre, Newsies (Morris Delancey) The Muny and most recently, Fun Home (Roy/Pete/Mark/Bobby Jeremy) here at the Fulton. Beyond his on stage work, he was given the opportunity to work as a director, when he staged his first show while attending University of Michigan entitled Freshmen Showcase and assisted the director of the off-Broadway play Ferguson with Jerry Dixon. These opportunities guided him to pursue a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Leadership with an Arts Administration Focus, 2021. While finishing this degree he began his choreography career when he was given the opportunity to create 4 shows (A Soldier’s Tale, Together We Celebrate, Fun Home, and now Cinderella) here at the Fulton. Hal Yudof

Hal could not be more thrilled to be a part of this production of Cinderella, as well as to return home to the Fulton after being away for over a decade. He has been seen in previous Fulton productions such as Rudy in Hello Dolly, Mr. Hunter in Treasure Island, and Lazar Wolf in Fiddler On The Roof. Hal has also performed locally at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater as well as many Regional Theatres and National Tours. As always, Hal dedicates his performance to his children Sadie and Dovev.
